Plants that live in the rainforest!

Some of the plants in the rainforest are Coffee trees, Ginger trees, Ribbonwood tree and the Umbrella        tree.
Is tree is called a Ginger Tree. Most gingers are found in the rainforests of tropical Asia, Australia, Africa and the Americas.
Is is a Umbrella Tree, the Umbrella tree is in the Araliaceae family , which are widely cultivated in tropical and sub-tropical gardens.
This is a Ribbonwood Plant which is also known as the 'idiot fruit'. It flowers from  late spring to early summer and produces pink and cream flowers.

What is a rainforest/Layers of a Rainforest

 What is a Rainforest?

A rainforest is a large amount of land that has mass  amount of trees. These trees give us a valuable gift, air, the trees breaths in bad air and lets out good air. There are two specific places were there are rainforest's that give us air like  the tropical rainforest which is located around the equator and the temperate rainforest which are also located around the coastal areas.

I have uploaded a picture of the layers of the rainforest that I have drawn.

The layers are:

The emergent layer, which is from the very top of the trees and half way through the leaves.

The canopy layer which is from half way through the leaves to the start of the trunk.

The under layer which is from the start of the trunk to half way through the trunk.

Last but not least the forest floor which if from half way threw the trunk to the floor.
